The Big Fang

November 9, 2020: Call for Submissions [Submissions Now Closed]

Harbor Humane Society is pleased to announce plans for its first multi-author anthology, The Big Fang, which will include cozy, caper, and humorous mystery/crime stories with the overarching theme of “changes and twists.”

The deadline for submission is January 31, 2021. The publication date is slated for late fall 2021.

Both unpublished stories and reprints will be considered. The number of stories included will depend on the length of stories selected, but 18-20 stories are anticipated. All submissions will be acknowledged and acceptance/rejections will be emailed to all submitting authors on or before March 31, 2021. Previously unpublished authors are welcome to submit. A nominal payment will be made to authors with accepted stories. Please consult the submission guidelines for full information on the anthology, story expectations, and submission information.

Located in West Michigan, Harbor Humane Society is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and 100% of profits from the sale of the anthology will support its mission. Melissa Haveman, of Creatively Centered, is serving as the anthology editor.
